An e-Aadhaar card is a legal document and it is treated the same as a physical version of it.It should be noted that an e-Aadhaar card is not a replacement for a physical Aadhaar card, as it functions similarly to the latter. According to the act, an e-Aadhaar with a digital signature can be used in place of a physical Aadhaar card.

It is digitally signed by the UIDAI as per the provision written under Information Technology Act 2000. What is an e-Aadhaar?Į-Aadhaar is a digital version of an Aadhaar card. In this blog, we will go over everything there is to know about an e-Aadhaar password and how to use it. In order to open the e-Aadhaar PDF file, you will need to enter this password. This digital version, known as an e-Aadhaar card, is protected by a password. I request to address my queries since I am more worried about getting this card. After enrolling in the Aadhar program and receiving your Aadhar card, you can download or print a digital version of it. Secondly How can I get my card on my return to India?

If so how to apply and what is the address in Chennai and what are all the documents I shall keep with me for this. My doubts are :- Is it possible for my wife to apply for the card since our permanent resident is only in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. Secondly now the collection of Aadhar card details for further processing is very active and now me and my wife both are in US and will come back only after six months. Even though I told him that she come back after a few months he refused to note about her details. At that time my wife was out of India and hence the man who came to record the details didn't note the details of my wife saying he cannot note since the person is out of country. During the month of September 2010 some person came to my house and noted the details of me for Aadhar Card.
